The PNC Championship 2026 rolls out with a lineup that packs a punch: Nelly Korda and Cameron Young bring the next level of star power, making this family gathering an absolute must-attend event for every golf fan. The tournament, where the current tour elite meets legends, is being elevated to an entirely new level this year.
Korda, the current World No. 1, is making her sixth appearance, teeing off again with her father Petr. A well-oiled team that has repeatedly shown their capabilities in this 36-hole scramble format. Cameron Young, on the other hand, celebrates his debut alongside his father David. Young not only secured victory at The Players Championship in March this year but also the Cadillac Championship in May 2026, making him a formidable World No. 4.
Female Stars and Legend Returns
This year's PNC Championship is breaking records for women's power: Annika Sörenstam is once again competing with her son Will McGee, Steve Stricker plays with his daughter Izzi, and Bernhard Langer, the six-time champion, tees off with his daughter Christina. This field is expected to feature more female golfers than any previous PNC – a clear sign that women in golf are truly delivering. But the legends are also fired up: defending champions Matt Kuchar and his son Carson are back, Brooks Koepka makes his debut, and icons like David Duval, Trevor Immelman, Nick Price, and of course Lee Trevino – the only player to have participated in every edition – are all set to compete.
The Family Spectacle of the Year
From December 17-20, 2026, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida, will be the venue for this unique event. The rules are clear: a main player must have won a major championship or The Players Championship, and the family partner must not hold professional tour status. Nine more teams are yet to be announced, but it's already clear: this family gathering promises to be a golf highlight, guaranteeing emotions and world-class shots.
