Health Data (Apple Health / HealthKit)

Delofted can save a round you track with the app to Apple Health as a golf workout. This is switched off by default and only happens after you enable "Save round to Apple Health" in the round setup screen and grant permission in the iOS system dialog. You can withdraw that permission at any time in iOS Settings under Health › Data Access & Devices › Delofted.

What we write

• A workout of the type "Golf" with start and end time
• On Apple Watch additionally, while the round is running: heart rate and active energy, recorded by the watchOS workout session

What we read

Nothing. Delofted requests write access only. The app does not read any data from Apple Health — no steps, no heart rate, no body measurements, no date of birth.

Where health data goes

• Health data stays on your device and in your Apple Health database, which is managed and encrypted by Apple.
• Health data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored in our Firebase database and never leaves your device through Delofted.
• Health data is never shared with third parties, never used for advertising or marketing, never used to build user profiles and never sold.
• Health data is not used for research purposes, nor disclosed to data brokers, insurers or employers.

Deleting health data

Because health data is only ever stored in Apple Health, you delete it there: open the Health app, go to Browse › Activity › Workouts, and delete the entries in question. Deleting a tracked round inside Delofted before it is finished means no workout is written at all.
