Attention, golf fans! This week, it's going international for some of our LIV Golf stalwarts. Six players from the 'rebel circuit' are once again teeing it up outside of regular LIV events, making waves on various tours. The Turkish Airlines Open on the DP World Tour, the GS Caltex Maekyung Open on the Asian Tour, and The Crowns on the Japan Golf Tour – a familiar name could appear anywhere.
The Turkish Airlines Open makes its debut at the National Golf Club in Belek this year. The event boasts a total prize purse of $2.75 million and is the fifth and final tournament of the DP World Tour's Asian Swing. The par-72 course, opened in 1994 and designed by LIV Golf's David Feherty and David Jones, is a true test at 7,287 yards (6,663 meters). Water hazards and small, well-guarded Bermuda grass greens are ready to make life difficult for the players.
David Puig
Puig is coming off the best week of his LIV Golf career. He carded the round of the tournament at LIV Golf Mexico City with a 9-under 62 in the third round, finishing the tournament in a solo 2nd place at 15-under par. Puig has now achieved a T8 or better in four of his six LIV Golf starts this season.
Elvis Smylie
Since his triumph at the LIV Golf season opener in Riyadh, Smylie's form has declined significantly. He finished T8 at the Hong Kong event but has not made the top 25 in any of his last three starts. Smylie will be looking to regain his form this week, as a strong performance at LIV Golf Virginia could secure him the LIV Golf exemption for the U.S. Open.
Tom McKibbin
McKibbin had his best season finish in his last appearance at LIV Golf Mexico City, coming in T5 and helping Legion XIII to their first win of 2026. After struggling with consistency in the first half of the season, the Northern Irishman gained strokes on the field in all major statistical categories at Club de Chapultepec.
