Folks, the LPGA Tour is really picking up speed, and the next big event is just around the corner! From May 14th to 17th, the elite of women's golf will tee off at the 2026 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. The prize money: a massive $2,000,000. This is about more than just the paycheck – it's about glory and honor.
Star Alert in Cincinnati!
For this event, some really big names have already committed. We're talking Major Champions and the top-ranked players in the world! Among the early commitments are superstars like Lexi Thompson, Anna Nordqvist, and LPGA Tour winner Rose Zhang. And that's not all: Defending champion Charley Hull, who clinched the victory in 2025, will naturally also be competing. Joining them are 2024 champion Lydia Ko and the current world No. 1 Atithaya Thitikul. The field is already incredibly strong and promises one spectacular round after another!
Korda in the Zone: Can She Be Stopped?
While we eagerly look ahead to Cincinnati, the LPGA Tour is currently hosting the 2026 Mizuho Americas Open. And who else but Nelly Korda would dominate the headlines? This woman is simply unstoppable! Just recently, on May 3rd, she convincingly claimed victory at the 2026 Riviera Maya Open with a 17-under total and a 4-shot lead – her 18th LPGA title! This came shortly after her Major triumph at the Chevron Championship on April 26th. Should Korda commit to Cincinnati, the other ladies will face a real challenge. For those who want to follow the action live: From May 7th to 10th, there will be broadcasts on Golf Channel (Thu/Fri 12-2 p.m. ET (6-8 p.m. CEST), Sat 5-7:30 p.m. ET (11 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. CEST)) and on Sunday via streaming (12-1 p.m. ET (6-7 p.m. CEST)) and CBS (1-3 p.m. ET (7-9 p.m. CEST)).
The 2026 Kroger Queen City Championship thus promises to be a true golf festival. With so many top players on the tee and the current form some are showing, we can look forward to concentrated drama and spectacular shots. Don't miss it, folks!
