Breaking golf news has just gotten a serious boost, as a lot is happening in the business – and on the course! From a brand-new Influencer Tour to a YouTube star making his PGA Tour debut, and important deals on the DP World Tour, there's everything to make a golfer's heart beat faster. Strap in, folks, the week is going to be wild!
The rumor mill has been buzzing for a while, and now it's official: The "Your Golf Tour" is launching! YouTube giants Bryan Bros and Grant Horvat, along with Brad Dalke as the fourth captain, have revealed the details. This is no fleeting idea, but a seriously major influencer series with a $1 million (approx. €914,400) prize fund across four events. Each captain picks three teammates, including well-known faces like Luke Kwon, Peter Finch, and Roger Steele. Things are really going to heat up!
YouTube Power Meets PGA Tour Dream
Speaking of Brad Dalke: He has double the reason to celebrate this week. Aside from his captain role on the "Your Golf Tour," he snags a sponsor exemption for his first professional PGA Tour start since 2016! At the Good Good Championship (Nov 12-15, Fazio Canyons Course in Austin, TX), Dalke, at 28 years old one of the top YouTube golfers, will be competing. What a tremendous opportunity to prove himself on the big stage.
Bryson and the Future of Golf
All of this shows how fluid the transitions between traditional and creator golf are becoming right now. Even Bryson DeChambeau, LIV Tour superstar, has already made plans: Should his league close down after 2026, he wants to fully focus on his YouTube channel. He recently also criticized the PGA Tour, saying it's "not doing so well." The battle for the future of golf is far from decided, but one thing is clear: YouTube golfers are definitely in the game!
