Our five-time major champion and former world No. 1 Brooks Koepka is back in full swing on the PGA Tour. We currently see him this week at the $4 million ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, held at the Dunes Beach and Golf Club. Admittedly, the event is somewhat overshadowed by the concurrently running $20 million spectacle, the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow. But Koepka has a clear goal in mind.
After his move to LIV Golf at the end of 2025 and his return to the PGA Tour in early 2026, Brooks knows exactly what's what. He recently spoke with reporters and made it clear that he "accepts the price" he has to pay for his return. He is ready to take on the challenge of working his way back up from the smaller events. Incidentally, his comeback was sealed with a $5 million donation to charity. This attitude is truly impressive from him!
Brooks Koepka on being an alternate at signature events recently. "So, listen, the way I look at it is I'm itching to get in, but I'm accepting of where I'm at, and I understand that there's prices to pay for coming back, and I'm willing to accept those and whatever I have to

The Path Back to the Top
Our man is eager to play his way back into the lucrative Signature Events. He's practically knocking on the door! His next realistic goal is the Memorial Tournament, followed by the Travelers Championship in June 2026 – which is practically his last chance before the U.S. Open. He knows: To get back in, there's only one answer: "Just play better!"
Full Focus on the Tour
The golf community is surprised – and positively so! – by Brooks' honest and down-to-earth attitude. No complaints, no excuses, just pure focus on performance. This shows us all: Brooks Koepka is serious about his comeback and wants to prove that he still belongs among the best. The season is still long, but a strong result in Myrtle Beach could significantly accelerate his path back to the elite. Fingers crossed!
