The Women's TGL is landing in Europe, and Sky Sports has exclusively secured the live rights for 2026 and 2027 – that's a huge deal! The brand-new indoor team league, launched in collaboration with the LPGA, promises not only a breath of fresh air but also world-class golf. The spectacle kicks off on November 8, 2026, and we can't wait to follow the action live.
Five teams will compete, each with a five-player roster packed with talent. Names like Charley Hull, Lottie Woad, and former world No. 1 Atthaya Thitikul are naturally at the top of the list. But stars like Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee, Rose Zhang, and Ruoning Yin are also participating, promising golf at the highest level. In total, the teams bring 48 Solheim Cup appearances, 15 Major titles, and eight players from the 2026 Solheim Cup rosters to the competition.
Star Power in a High-Tech Dome
Play will take place in a specially built indoor arena in Florida, already familiar from the men's TGL. This is truly a high-tech spectacle, offering the players an incredible stage. It's not a casual gathering, but fierce competition where every decision counts. The presentation will be revolutionary: players with microphones, risky decisions that impact the entire team, and various match formats that highlight strategy and personality.
The WTGL Experience
The WTGL aims to combine the best of TGL's innovative, arena-based format with the LPGA's top talent. We won't just see incredible shots, but also gain a real insight into the pros' thinking. The goal is to bring the fascination of golf even closer to us and experience pure emotions. This league is set to launch and will definitely elevate women's golf to the next level!
