Globetrotter Mode: Why Jon Rahm & Co. are Conquering the World (and we love it!) Securing a professional golf victory is quite a statement. Multiple wins? That's the league of the true greats, a clear statement of excellence. But what about the locations of these triumphs? What about the golfers who conquer the globe, who willingly battle severe jet lag, passport controls, unpredictable weather, and constantly changing course types and conditions? Who soak up new cultures, feast on eclectic cuisines, and learn foreign languages while preparing for a tournament? That's next level, folks! On Sunday in Hong Kong, Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm secured his 23rd professional victory. And that came in his eighth (!) different country. Truly impressive from the Spaniard! This week at Aramco LIV Golf Singapore, he has the chance to make it nine. And as if that weren't enough, next week at LIV Golf South Africa presents another immediate opportunity, as he'll make his first career start on the African continent. That's the advantage of the global LIV Golf calendar, which features tournaments in 10 different countries this season. “It’s truly unique to have the opportunity to take your golf game to all corners of the world,” said Rahm. “To then also claim the victory there is something special.” That moment when Rahm clinched the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong title? Pure goosebumps! Certainly, it's a very special feeling for players who are eager to prove themselves as true golf globetrotters, rather than just performing at home. Competing on a global stage, that's the real challenge. By the way, Rahm isn't the first Spaniard to have this global perspective. His fellow LIV Golf Captain, Sergio Garcia of Fireballs GC, has won an incredible 38 tournaments in 18 different countries. And their great idol, the late Seve Ballesteros, who passed away too soon, not only triumphed in over 20 different countries but also secured victories on five different continents by the tender age of 20. What a legend! Other seasoned LIV Golf veterans also show that they are truly strong performers across the globe. Lee Westwood of Majesticks Golf Club has won in 20 different countries, while his co-captain Ian Poulter celebrated successes in 12 countries. Paul Casey of Crushers GC, also an Englishman, has already claimed victory in 13 countries. Of the 54 full-time LIV Golf professionals who have won individual tournaments this season, 43 (!) have already lifted a trophy in at least three different countries. That says a lot! “Golf is a global game,” said Garcia. “We truly want to promote our sport, our beautiful game that we love, all over the world. I’ve been very fortunate to perform really well almost everywhere in the world. I’m proud of that. It shows that I
