The Ticket to the PGA TOUR
These PGA TOUR University Rankings are far more than just a leaderboard – they are the springboard for college stars into professional golf. Whoever holds the No. 1 spot at the end of the season secures direct PGA Tour membership. Spots No. 2-10 receive their ticket to the Korn Ferry Tour, and the players ranked No. 11-25 can look forward to the PGA Tour Americas. So, this is about the future – and for Poulter and Turner, a huge push into the major leagues.
It's no coincidence that these two Gators are ranked so high: Both have earned All-American honors and landed on the Haskins Award Preseason Watch List. They were their team's top scorers, which absolutely justifies these placements in the Preseason Rankings. Things are going well for the Gators.

At the top of the Class of 2027, Preston Stout from Oklahoma State reigns as the clear No. 1, closely followed by Tyler Weaver (Florida State) at No. 2 and Ryder Cowan (Oklahoma) at No. 3. But other names also sound promising: Tim Wiedemeyer (Texas Tech) at No. 4, Josiah Gilbert (Auburn) at No. 5, Niall Sheils Donegan (North Carolina) at No. 6, Bryan Kim (Duke) at No. 8, Adam Bresnu (Texas Tech) at No. 9, and William Walsh (Pepperdine) at No. 10 are also ready. A thrilling race for professional tickets has thus begun. Texas Tech, by the way, can boast being the only team with two players in the Top 10 – Wiedemeyer and Bresnu show the depth of their roster.
