Attention, everyone! While we're already buzzing with excitement for the 90th Masters in April 2026, 2025 Champion Rory McIlroy has given us a first-class preview: On March 18, 2026, he unveiled the menu for the 2026 Masters Champions Dinner. And believe us, this is no ordinary fare!
The Northern Irishman has made a statement for the legendary gathering on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Augusta National – just two days before the 90th Masters kicks off on April 9. With this menu, he's not just serving food to golf legends like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Jack Nicklaus; he's telling a story of Irish family traditions, local Georgia flavors, and truly impactful global influences.
McIlroy's Feast: A Culinary Journey
Rory didn't leave his choices to chance. He incorporated childhood memories, pre-Masters preparations, and his favorite restaurants. For appetizers, there are four options right off the bat, so there's something for everyone: Peach Ricotta Flatbread (a nod to Georgia), Rock Shrimp Tempura, Bacon-Wrapped Dates (a recipe from his Mum Rosie – "Thanks to Rosie for that one!"), and even grilled Elk Sliders, which he ate himself before his victory last year. As a first main course, a Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio with Foie Gras entices – a true replica from New York's Le Bernardin, perfectly recreated by Augusta chefs.
Savory & Sweet Finale
For the main courses, the champions are spoiled for choice: Wagyu Filet Mignon or Pan-Seared Salmon. Accompanied by sides that make Rory's heart beat faster: traditional Irish Champ (creamy mashed potatoes – "As a kid, I ate bowls of it!"), Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Brown Butter Glazed Carrots, and crispy Vidalia Onion Rings from near Augusta. And the grand finale? Sticky Toffee Pudding with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce – a guaranteed "Crowd-Pleaser". It will be served with a 1989 Château d’Yquem – Rory's birth year, of course. What a dinner for a monumental gathering of golf history!
