LIV Golf Singapore: Teams Battle for Sentosa's Throne!

LIV Golf Singapore: Where Ball-Strikers Reach Their Peak Performance! Folks, it's that time again! LIV Golf stops in Singapore, specifically at the breathtaking Serapong course at Sentosa Golf Club. And when we say breathtaking, we mean it! Here, an incredible backdrop meets an absolutely demanding championship layout that will challenge even the most seasoned pros. Ready for a spectacle? The Serapong at Sentosa is a Par 71 and measures a challenging 7,406 yards (6,773 meters). To score here, you need to love your irons and make the ball dance. From 2023 to 2025, the course was already the venue for LIV Golf Singapore presented by Aramco, and before that, from 2005 to 2022, it hosted the Singapore Open. Sentosa is long, unforgiving, and exclusively rewards the best ball-strikers in the field. If you don't strike it clean here, you stand no chance. Period.

TEAM POWER RANKINGS – The DELOFTED Prediction

  1. Legion XIII: The Ball-Striking Machines are Hot! Sentosa is a true paradise for ball-strikers, rewarding elite play from tee to green – exactly the kind of terrain where the guys from Legion XIII truly flourish with their precise shots. Captain Jon Rahm, fresh off a convincing victory in Hong Kong, has already delivered a T10 here in 2024 and a T5 in 2025. It's clear: his form curve is sharply rising this season (2026), approaching absolute peak performance. Tyrrell Hatton also recorded a T5 in 2024 and a T19 in 2025. And watch out for Tom McKibbin! Last year (2025) he only had one start (T25), but his powerful and ultra-precise playing style is perfectly suited for Sentosa. The kid is hungry for a podium finish, I'm sure of it!
  2. Fireballs GC: Fire Under Their Heels for the Title Defense? The Fireballs enter Singapore as the defending champions. And honestly, folks: I firmly believe that Captain Sergio Garcia, David Puig, and Josele Ballester all have what it takes to clinch the individual title here. Garcia already won the SMBC Singapore Open on this course in 2018 with a commanding five-stroke (five-shot) lead – now that was a statement! David Puig secured a strong 4th (4th place) finish at LIV Golf Singapore last year (2025). While Josele Ballester hasn't played the course yet, his playing style perfectly matches the demanding ball-striking requirements of this layout. The Fireballs have struggled a bit in the first three events this season (2026), but Sentosa is exactly the place where they'll get back on their feet. Time for a comeback!
  3. Torque GC: Niemann's Squad Means Business! Captain Joaquin Niemann, the reigning champion, is back in action this week. Even if he might not quite be in the insane form of last year (2025), Torque GC's deep roster will be tough to beat this week. Carlos Ortiz comes off a really strong week in Hong Kong
