LIV Golf 2026: Sony Deal Brings Golf Stars to Asia!

NEW YORK and MUMBAI – The LIV Golf League, the global golf league that combines world-class competition with entertainment and culture to advance the sport worldwide, today announced a new broadcast partnership with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI). The agreement will see Sony provide extensive live coverage of the 2026 LIV Golf League season for viewers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and the Maldives. Coverage will be across Sony Sports Network's linear television channels and the premium OTT platform Sony LIV. This partnership brings LIV Golf to audiences in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and the Maldives, ensuring comprehensive coverage across South and Central Asia.

The new partnership with the LIV Golf League complements SPNI's existing broadcast agreement for the 2026 season of The International Series, which features top-tier events at world-class destinations. These events, co-sanctioned by LIV Golf and the Asian Tour, provide leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world a pathway into the LIV Golf League and the Majors. Together, the agreements ensure that viewers across India, as well as in the broader South and Central Asian regions, will have unprecedented access to the entire LIV Golf ecosystem – from emerging global talents of The International Series to the sport's biggest stars competing in the LIV Golf League.

As an expression of its commitment to showcase elite competition in global markets, the 2026 LIV Golf League season features a total of 14 events spanning 10 countries and five continents. This ensures fans in South Asia and Central Asia will gain unprecedented access to world-class golf. A cornerstone of this global presence is the League's extensive schedule in Asia, which includes the recently concluded HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong and Aramco LIV Golf Singapore tournaments, as well as the highly anticipated LIV Golf Korea from May 28-31. Sony's coverage of the 2026 season commenced March 19-22 with LIV Golf South Africa in Saudi Arabia and will encompass all of the League's global stops, culminating in the Aramco LIV Golf Michigan Team Championship from August 27-30.

“We are thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures Networks India to bring LIV Golf to fans in India, South Asia, and Central Asia,” said Örjan Olsson, SVP, International Media Rights at LIV Golf. “Sony is one of India's largest and most trusted sports broadcasters. Securing both linear TV presence and established premium OTT distribution significantly enhances our reach, brand awareness, and long-term positioning in a crucial market. Through Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV, viewers across the entire
