Olivia Regina DelPrete is here! Jessica Korda and Johnny DelPrete celebrate the birth of their second daughter, whose middle name is a true homage to the Korda family's power and delights the golf world. The name Regina honors none other than Korda's mother, the former tennis champion and Olympian Regina Rajchrtová. What an emotional tee shot into a new family chapter!
The freshly-minted two-time mom already joked that "Mom is no longer outnumbered" – a direct nod to the growing brood of children. Olivia is the younger sister of Greyson John DelPrete, who was born only in February 2024. That's how things are in the Korda household; there's always action!
Golf Elite Celebrates
Reactions from the golf community were not long in coming. Sister Nelly Korda was overjoyed and posted directly on Instagram that she is now a "Girl Auntie" and Jessica a "Girl Mom." Max Homa also sent his congratulations, and stars like Lexi Thompson, Leona Maguire, and Anna Nordqvist celebrated the arrival of little Olivia. This shows how strong the solidarity within the Tour family is.
Comeback and Family Focus
Jessica Korda had largely withdrawn from professional golf since 2023 due to persistent back problems. Although she did make two LPGA starts in 2026, the Ford Championship and the Aramco Championship, her focus recently was clearly on her recovery and family. A full schedule is not currently on the horizon, but with so much support – literally – the future is exciting. Nelly Korda herself, who is currently taking a roughly two-month LPGA break, is thrilled about more time with her new niece and has repeatedly emphasized that Jessica's transition to motherhood was one of the happiest phases of her life.
