Stephan Jäger heads into Sunday at the Baycurrent Classic with realistic chances for the title, just one shot behind the three-way lead. With 12-under-par after a round of 67 on Saturday at Yokohama Country Club, he has perfectly positioned himself to still claim victory.
Three players currently share the lead at 13-under: Michael Brennan, Zach Bauchou, and Jacob Bridgeman. But Jäger is not alone in the chasing pack. Sharing fourth place with him at 12-under are top players like Adam Scott, Jordan Smith, Justin Thomas, and Keith Mitchell – this promises a real showdown.
Jäger's Relentless Consistency
What a run Jäger is on! After a round of 69 and a fantastic 65, he followed up with a 67 on Saturday. This demonstrates that his game is truly strong, and he is consistently competing with the best at this $8 million PGA Tour event. This series of scores has kept him in close contention with the leaders.
