The complete team list for the 2026 Grant Thornton Invitational is here – and it's stacked! The mixed teams, comprising the elite of the LPGA and PGA Tour, will rock the greens from December 11-13 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. What an assembly of talent gathered for this top-tier mixed-team event!
This 32-player field is a true powerhouse: It boasts an incredible 145 career victories and a total of 22 trophies secured in 2026 alone. Nine Major champions are set to compete, including exceptional talent Nelly Korda, who has already claimed the U.S. Women’s Open and the Chevron Championship in 2026, and Haeran Ryu, who triumphed at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and the Amundi Evian Championship. That's quite a statement!
Veterans and Newcomers
Speaking of champions: Defending champions Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak, who last year dominated the competition with an incredible 28-under-par total and a three-stroke lead, are naturally returning. Also making an appearance are the 2024 winners, Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp, as well as the inaugural champions Lydia Ko and Jason Day. Ko and Day, both former world number ones, bring the most combined individual titles to the field – truly impressive!
New Energy on the Course
But it's not just familiar faces: A full eleven new teams and eleven players making their debut at the Grant Thornton Invitational promise fresh energy and excitement. This blend of established stars and hungry newcomers guarantees a true spectacle, where drama is sure to be plentiful. With a hefty prize purse of $4.1 million, split equally between LPGA and PGA Tour professionals, more than just honor is at stake.
The Scramble, Foursomes, and Modified Four-Ball formats over three days guarantee plenty of action and unexpected twists. It remains to be seen which duos will claim the crown at the end of the year. One thing is clear: This event will once again be an absolute highlight on the golf calendar!
