The PGA Tour Champions is rolling out a real surprise this year: The Constellation Furyk & Friends is moving! The tee-off will no longer be in Jacksonville, but on the legendary Ocean Course at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. From October 9-11, 2026, the Jack Nicklaus-designed course will transform into the stage for 78 top golfers, competing in a 54-hole event for a hefty prize fund of 2.2 million US dollars. The winner will take home a substantial 330,000 US dollars. Jim and Tabitha Furyk are the hosts of this spectacle.
This move is a true statement. It marks the first time in the tournament's six-year history that the Furyk & Friends will be held on the Ocean Course, after spending its first five years in Jacksonville. An announcement that brings a fresh breeze and new challenges to the tournament. Things are really heating up on the green!
Langer Is In The Field
One name adding extra excitement is Bernhard Langer. The World Golf Hall of Famer is expected, and his appearance is far from coincidental. 18 years ago, he claimed one of his early senior victories right here when the Tour last visited Palm Coast for two years. An epic comeback to a familiar venue! Gates open daily at 10:30 AM (4:30 PM CEST), with first tee times scheduled for 11:00 AM (5:00 PM CEST). On Friday, after the impressive round, there will even be a Billy Currington concert at 7:00 PM (1:00 AM CEST the next day) on the resort grounds. Tickets are available for 50 US dollars on Friday (including concert) or 25 US dollars for Saturday and Sunday.
Return of the Champions
Jim Furyk has thus brought the PGA Tour Champions back to this region after more than a decade and a half. This gives the Ocean Course new prominence and returns Palm Coast to the map of senior golf. A truly strong development that shows the seasoned veterans can still create a stir.
