CHIBA, Japan – Experienced International Series contenders Kieran Vincent and Andy Ogletree will tee off at the International Series Japan from April 2-5 at Caledonian Golf Club, aiming to collect early points in the race for the 2026 Rankings as they battle to earn their way back into the LIV Golf League.
Since the launch of The International Series in 2022, both players were among the first to embrace the Series and have since become familiar faces on the circuit. They utilize it to sharpen their game and position themselves on one of golf's most coveted global pathways. Vincent, winner of the International Series Vietnam in 2023, arrives in Japan determined to build on his strong 2025 campaign, which placed him in the top 20 of the Rankings. A tie for third place at the Jakarta International Championship put him within striking distance of the top and secured him another opportunity at the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions, where he had already secured his spot in the League in 2023 with a top-three finish.
Regarding this path, the Zimbabwean said: “Missing out on LIV Promotions earlier this year was tough, but playing on the Asian Tour and The International Series gives you another opportunity to battle your way back. That's where I want to be, and I know this is the platform to get there.” The path Kieran is striving for is one his brother, Scott Vincent, knows well. Scott reached the top of the International Series Rankings for the second time last season, securing another return to the LIV Golf League after having reached the sport's highest level twice before via this route. Back in Japan, where he achieved a T12 finish last season, the 29-year-old embraces both the upcoming challenge and journey. “Japan is such a vibrant golf destination, and playing in front of these fans is something I'm really looking forward to,” Kieran said. “Everyone wants to perform, but for me this year it's about staying present, embracing the difficult moments, and enjoying the race throughout the season.”
Ogletree, a three-time International Series winner, knows exactly what it takes to convert performance into opportunity. The American won the 2023 International Series Rankings to secure his LIV Golf League Card and subsequently competed for Phil Mickelson's HyFlyers GC in the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
