What an absolute thriller at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open! After the third round, Daniel Rodrigues of Portugal and Sweden's Mikael Lindberg share the lead. Both are at a strong 7-under par and have only one goal in mind: their first career DP World Tour title – and that at the National Golf Club in Belek, Turkey. Excitement is guaranteed here!
Rodrigues, a rookie at just 23 years old and only his twelfth top-tier event, fired an absolute cracking round (68). Four birdies on the first six holes, then again on the 10th and 14th. Just before the two-hour lightning delay, he had to stomach a bogey on the 16th, but he continued strong afterwards. This secured him the clubhouse lead – truly impressive, this guy!
Leader in the clubhouse 💪 Daniel Rodrigues finished his third round before the weather delay to sit in the house at -7. The 23-year-old from Portugal is playing his debut season on Tour after coming through Q School last year. He finished T16 last week in China and is looking

Lindberg Remains Composed, Chasers Lurk
Mikael Lindberg also played incredibly solid golf, finishing his round with a 70. Especially on the back nine, he remained ice-cold, parring hole after hole while the weather went wild and the leaderboard shuffled frantically. He is also at 7-under par and ready for the big showdown.
Right behind the two frontrunners, a whole pack of chasers lurks. Six players are at 6-under par, just one shot back! This includes the until-now leader Gregorio De Leo, who unfortunately dropped shots today with a 73, and Frenchman Ugo Coussaud. So, it's still all to play for on the final day, folks!
The Stakes for the US PGA Championship Are High
The final round will start early on Sunday due to weather, with the first tee-off at 07:00 AM local time (07:00 AM CEST). The leading group of Rodrigues, Lindberg, and Coussaud will begin their hunt for the title at 09:10 AM local time (09:10 AM CEST). It's not just about the win, but also a coveted spot at the US PGA Championship – a top-three finish qualifies for it. Rodrigues handles the pressure coolly: "Sure, I have that in mind, but I try not to overthink it... You just have to hit your shots for 18 holes." Exactly this mindset is what you need for the big breakthrough! It's going to be a spectacle on the green!
