The field for the 2026 TOUR Championship is set – and the final tickets to East Lake were hard-fought after a thrilling BMW Championship finale in Chicago. The top 30 in the FedExCup standings will tee off next week in Atlanta, vying for the big prize. Scottie Scheffler enters the tournament as the clear FedExCup No. 1, a position he has held firmly for five years.
It could barely have been more dramatic: Gary Woodland, Patrick Cantlay, and Robert MacIntyre only made it into this elite field at the last second. Woodland made a leap from 31st to 18th with a T4 finish, Cantlay catapulted himself from 43rd to 19th with a strong second-place finish, and Scotland's MacIntyre secured his spot with a T7 result, jumping from 36th to 25th. What a nail-biter on the green!
Fresh Blood and Bitter Pills
Besides the proven veterans, we're seeing some fresh faces this year. Ryan Gerard, Min Woo Lee, Kristoffer Reitan, Alex Fitzpatrick, Alex Smalley, and Ryan Fox are making their TOUR Championship debut in 2026. These guys have shown real strength and proven they can compete among the elite. On the other hand, Im Sung-jae is not participating this time after seven consecutive appearances – a bitter pill for the Korean.

Wyndham Clark not only secured the second FedExCup spot with his victory at the BMW Championship but also gained a lot of confidence for the season finale. Although Scottie Scheffler only managed a T12 at the BMW, he's having a strong year in 2026. It was already his 18th Top-25 finish in 19 starts. With such consistency, he is the absolute favorite, but the competition will give everything to snatch the title from him.
