Rahm Triumphs at HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong! 4Aces Celebrate

RAHMBO IS BACK! After 540 days, Jon Rahm finally secures an individual victory at LIV Golf Hong Kong Hong Kong – Redemption has arrived, folks! After what felt like an eternity – to be precise, a remarkable 540 days – Jon Rahm has finally battled his way back to the top and claimed the individual title at the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong! This marks his third LIV Golf triumph overall and his first since the LIV Golf Chicago event in 2024. What a statement! Rahm, the reigning LIV Golf Individual Champion, magically posted a total score of 23 under par with rounds of 66-62-65-64. In the end, he finished three strokes ahead of Thomas Detry and four ahead of Belgium's Thomas Pieters. Things really got competitive out on the course, but the Spaniard showed who was boss in the final round: Four birdies and just one bogey on the front nine, a repeat performance on the back nine. He gave the guys from 4Aces GC no chance to threaten his lead. “I played really well all day,” Rahm beamed after the round. “Even though I shot 6 under, there was still more out there with a couple of short putts that didn't drop and a mis-hit on 18. It was incredible. But I just tried to stay very patient and focused on every shot, because I knew I was doing everything right and things would eventually fall into place. I think that was the mantra almost every round this week.” After FOUR consecutive second-place finishes, he finally managed to clinch the title in Hong Kong – RAHMBO IS BACK! Things also went incredibly well for Thomas Detry. He finished in second place, despite only being able to start thanks to Rahm's help and having limited practice at the start of the week due to travel issues. His rounds: 64-63-66-67. Thomas Pieters, the 34-year-old, shot rounds of 68-66-61-66 and finished the tournament at 19 under par in third place – his first podium finish at LIV Golf. That's no small feat! But it wasn't just Rahm who ended a dry spell. The once-dominant 4Aces GC have finally snatched the team title again after a long wait. Their last team victory was at LIV Golf London in 2023. After finishing third in the first two events of 2026, they've now sealed the deal! Led by Detry and Pieters, Captain Dustin Johnson (T24) with a strong 5-under 65 on Sunday and LIV Golf Adelaide winner Anthony Kim (T31) with a 4-under 66 also contributed to the team's success. “It feels good,” Johnson said. “Winning as a team is obviously huge. Sure, we finished third the first couple of weeks, those were good performances. To win this week, yeah, that's big, and it's obviously been a while since we've won. So yeah, it feels really good.” Harold Varner III, playing alongside Rahm and Detry in the final group
