Mizuno has launched a true game-changer into its Signature Series with the Pro S-4, promising even more forgiveness to discerning golfers without sacrificing the familiar soft feel and compact look. This new iron is positioned as the most forgiving club in the family, demonstrating Mizuno's responsiveness to current trends.
This iron is forged from the finest Grain Flow Forged HD 1025E carbon steel with a copper underlay. This means the unparalleled feel at impact and the feedback Mizuno is known for are in full effect. The S-4 thus sits alongside the S-1 Muscleback and the S-3 Player's Cavity-Back, closing the gap for all who love the Mizuno Pro feel but need a bit more assistance on the course.
What's Inside the New Workhorse
Mizuno has given the S-4 a lower center of gravity, a wider sole, and more offset. Additionally, a deeper, lower sweet spot launches the ball higher into the air and provides significant stability on off-center strikes. Lofts range from 21° to 46°, and the standard setup includes a True Temper Dynamic Gold Mid 115 Stiff shaft with a Golf Pride Z-Cord grip. The club is priced at $215 per club.
Your Iron Set, Your Rules
Right-handers get the full range from 3-iron to pitching wedge, while left-handers have options from 4-iron to pitching wedge. A slightly thicker topline and a progressive offset flow in the long irons provide additional confidence without losing the classic player's iron look. Pre-orders were available starting September 3rd, with official availability beginning September 17, 2026.
