The tension is building at Augusta! The Masters is entering its crucial phase, and some of the LIV Golf guys are still very much in contention. Five of them have made the cut and are now chasing the top of the leaderboard at the legendary Augusta National Golf Club.
One player, in particular, has flexed his muscles: Tyrrell Hatton, the star of Legion XIII, stormed into the Top 10 with a phenomenal 6-under-66 round. What a round! However, he and the rest of the field have a mountain to climb: Rory McIlroy leads the field by six strokes – a Masters record after 36 holes. Drama is guaranteed!
Who's Teeing Off When?
For the LIV contingent, Round 3 starts early. At 9:42 AM ET (3:42 PM CEST), Charl Schwartzel and Rasmus Hojgaard will kick things off, followed by Jon Rahm and Si Woo Kim at 9:53 AM ET (3:53 PM CEST). Shortly after, at 10:15 AM ET (4:15 PM CEST), Sergio Garcia and Maverick McNealy will tee off.
The Late Pairings – Hatton in the Mix!
Later in the day, Dustin Johnson and Russell Henley will begin their rounds at 11:54 AM ET (5:54 PM CEST). And our man of the day, Tyrrell Hatton, who's keeping the flame alive, will head out with Wyndham Clark at 2:17 PM ET (8:17 PM CEST). Can Hatton continue his strong performance and put pressure on Rory? This promises to be a Masters Saturday that could go down in history!
