Mason Greene Wins ECP Brazil Open PGA TOUR Americas

The 2026 PGA TOUR Americas season has kicked off with a bang! Youngster Mason Greene secured the victory at the 71st ECP Brazil Open in Rio de Janeiro, immediately making a huge statement. With a final score of an incredible 23-under-par, the Good Good Golf star dominated the field at the Par-71 Rio Olympic Golf Course.

From April 15 to 19, 2026, the chase for the season's first title was on in Rio de Janeiro. Greene, hailing from Tustin, California, already held a lead going into the final round after positioning himself strongly with a 66 in round three. But the action really heated up on the course!

From Lead to Triumph

The pressure was immense, but Greene showed nerves of steel. While competitors like Chris Killmer late in the round squandered a three-stroke lead with a double bogey, Mason Greene withstood the pressure. He went into the decisive Sunday with a one-stroke lead – and then he hit the accelerator! The first five holes of the final round? All birdies! That was the statement Mason Greene needed to finally pull away from the competition and secure his first victory on the PGA TOUR Americas.

Flushing It

25 year old Mason Greene of Good Good Golf shot rounds of 65, 64, 66 and 67 to win the Brazil Open on the PGA Tour Americas by 2 shots. In 2022 he was struggling with college golf and wrote a note on his phone which he still has that says “never give up on something you believe

A Masterclass in Mental Game

After the triumphant finish, Greene reflected on his journey. He spoke about the importance of always pushing forward – no matter what challenges life presents. This mindset, coupled with unwavering self-belief, ultimately led him to success on the course. What a fantastic round, what a tournament victory! Mason Greene shows us that perseverance ultimately pays off. The 2026 season is already shaping up to be a truly strong one for him!
