LIV Golf touches down in Spain this week, specifically at the legendary Real Club Valderrama – already the ninth host country for the tour that knows no bounds! From June 4th to 7th, 2026, golf will be played in earnest once again here in San Roque, Cádiz.
The starting field is truly strong with 57 players: 13 teams of four pros each, plus five Wild Cards that are sure to ignite the competition. Whoever claims victory here at the end will truly have to deliver one spectacular round after another.
The Plan for Valderrama
The champion will be crowned here over four rounds and a total of 72 holes of stroke play. To ensure there's no dull moment, the usual thrilling shotgun start will send all the players out simultaneously. From Thursday to Saturday, the first tee time is at 1:15 p.m. local time (1:15 p.m. CEST) – or 7:15 a.m. ET (1:15 p.m. CEST), if you're watching from the East Coast. On the final Sunday, things get underway earlier, at 1:05 p.m. local time (1:05 p.m. CEST) or 7:05 a.m. ET (1:05 p.m. CEST).
The Elite Teeing Off
Bryson DeChambeau, whose drive on the ninth hole already had cameras flashing in the first flight, is just one of 57 pros teeing off this time. This promises one spectacular round after another.
Who will truly deliver on this legendary green and claim victory on Sunday remains to be seen. Valderrama is renowned for its challenging nature – every shot counts here, and the thrill is guaranteed.
