Six strokes behind in the final round? For Anna Huang at the Lalla Meryem Cup, that was just a warm-up before she made history! The 17-year-old Canadian delivered a sensational round of seven under par (66 strokes) on the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Blue Course. With six birdies and an eagle, she really got down to business on the green.
In the end, she secured the victory by just one stroke. A comeback of the highest caliber that the Ladies European Tour (LET) won't soon forget.
Youngest Legend of All Time
At just 17 years, 6 months, and 24 days old, Anna Huang is now the youngest player to have won three titles on the Ladies European Tour. That's seriously impressive, golfers, because with this, she snatches the record from none other than Lydia Ko. Ko had only claimed her three LET victories at 17 years, 10 months, and 5 days, even though she made a splash as the youngest winner on the Tour at just 15.
Huang, who only turned professional in 2025, has been shaking up the LET ever since. Before this, she was already the youngest winner on the Tour and then immediately followed up with a second victory. Now her third triumph, and she's the first Canadian since Brooke Henderson to win on the LET, and the first ever with multiple LET victories.
The Rise of an Exceptional Talent
What a statement from this young lady! With every tee shot, Anna Huang proves that she's not just here to compete, but to take home the trophies. Her momentum is undeniable, and we can't wait to see what else this 17-year-old will amaze us with in the coming years.
