The decision came down to the final holes: a late three-putt bogey on the 16th and a missed par-save on the 17th cost Kim second place. She finished at 13-under 267, one shot behind Yuri Yoshida (14-under), who moved into second place. Miyu Yamashita secured an undisputed victory with an incredible nine-shot lead and a 23-under 257, which equaled Kim's own 72-hole scoring record from 2018. Despite missing out on the win, it was Kim's sixth top-10 finish this season and a truly strong result at this tournament, which offered a $2.75 million prize.
