What an absolute masterclass at LIV Golf Mexico City! Jon Rahm once again showed who's the boss on the green at Club de Golf Chapultepec. With a true masterclass on the final day, he secured a dominant six-shot victory, claiming his second individual title of the season and capping off an incredible week.
Rahm Flexes His Muscles
The captain of Legion XIII entered Sunday with only a two-shot lead, but he quickly turned it into a one-man show. Rahm fired a 7-under 64 to the clubhouse, finishing the tournament with an astonishing 21 under par. Four rounds in the 60s – now that's a statement, folks!
But it wasn't just Rahm who performed strongly. The podium was also firmly in the hands of the Arizona State Sun Devils: David Puig and Josele Ballester secured second and third place, completing the Sun Devils' sweep.
Legion XIII with a Triple Triumph
And Rahm's team, Legion XIII, also had a historic week. They triumphed with a dominant wire-to-wire victory and an incredible 45 under par, a full nine shots ahead of Fireballs GC. The guys have now managed to claim the team title in Mexico for the third consecutive time – after 2024 and 2025, also in 2026! Things are simply going great for the team.
