FedExCup Fall: Griffin to Defend Title in Los Cabos!

It's a decisive moment for players' futures – the FedExCup Fall finale in Los Cabos promises pure golf drama as the World Wide Technology Championship, from November 5th to 8th, offers a final chance for many. At the picturesque El Cardonal in Diamante, it's not just about a hefty $6 million prize pool, but also crucial 500 FedExCup points and 29 points for the Official World Golf Ranking. For many golfers, this represents their last chance for next season.

The par-72 layout of El Cardonal, with its 7,452 yards (6,814 meters), is notorious for allowing very low scores. Ben Griffin impressively proved this last year (2025) when he secured the victory with an incredible 29 under par – what a phenomenal round! The conditions on the Pacific often provide the perfect setting for a true scoring feast.

Showdown on the Pacific

A field of 120 players is set to compete in this decisive battle. Names like Ryan Gerard, Ben Griffin, and Marco Penge lead the high-caliber lineup, which also includes around 20 golfers from the world's top 100. Defending champion Ben Griffin is, of course, back and aims to defend his title.

Blades Brown, in particular, has shown really strong form in 2026: a top-5 finish, two further top-10 places, and seven top-20 results in his last ten starts speak volumes. His game from tee to green is simply working. Veteran Lucas Glover, who finished tied for fifth here in 2021, could also provide a surprise. The excitement over who will secure the last coveted points is almost unsurpassed.
