BingoPlus Title Partner Philippine Open The International ...

MANILA, Philippines – The BingoPlus Philippine Open will be held from November 12-15, 2026, at Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club, ushering in a new era for Asia's oldest National Open as part of the 2026 International Series calendar. With over a century of history, the tournament now joins one of the most powerful global golf pathways. Building on the great success of last year's International Series in October in the country, BingoPlus returns with an even deeper commitment, escalating from presenting partner to title partner. The strengthened partnership, sharing a common vision to promote the sport, aims to capitalize on last year's momentum and further advance golf in the country.

The debut event attracted a world-class field, including former world No. 1 Dustin Johnson and Major champions like Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel, offering top-tier competition coupled with a vibrant fan experience. As part of the 2026 International Series calendar, the BingoPlus Philippine Open now gains enhanced competitive stature, lending additional prestige to a tournament shaped by its long and glorious history. This elevation not only strengthens its legacy but also firmly links the tournament to the pathway to the LIV Golf League. In an exciting storyline for the week, the event will feature two defending champions in the same field. Miguel Tabuena returns as a full-time LIV Golf League Wild Card and as the home champion of the International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus. The Filipino star is also a two-time winner of the Philippine Open, having claimed the national title in 2015 and 2018. He could be joined by Julien Sale, the 2025 Philippine Open Champion, promising a unique clash on one of the country's biggest stages.

Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, said: “Last year, the International Series showed what a world-class event looks and feels like in the Philippines. The passion for golf in this country is unmistakable, as we saw in the spectator numbers. The inclusion of the BingoPlus Philippine Open in our 2026 calendar is a natural next step, strengthening a historic national tournament while creating greater opportunities for players through our global pathway.”

Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner & CEO of the Asian Tour, said: “The Asian Tour is delighted that the Philippine Open will be included in the International Series. We have maintained a decades-long relationship with the Philippine Open and the National Golf Association of the Philippines and are extremely pleased to see their National Open now take its rightful place as the country's biggest golf event. We visited the Philippines twice last year, and, following today's announcement, this will also be the case this year. All of this points to an importan
