Alright, folks, buckle up! The LPGA Tour is making a stop in Arizona this week, and we are so ready for the 2026 Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass. From March 26-29, the challenging Cattail Course at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler/Phoenix will once again host an intense battle for the title.
All eyes are, of course, on Hyo Joo Kim, who not only claimed victory in last year's edition but also just brought home the Fortinet Founders Cup trophy – what a sensational round! Fresh off such a triumph, she's as hot as a Phoenix summer, but the competition isn't sleeping.
Who's in the Mix and How's it Shaping Up on the Green?
The best female golfers are once again teeing it up on the Par-72 layout of Whirlwind Golf Club. Kate Villegas secured her spot as medalist with an impressive 9-under, and Amanda Doherty snatched her ticket in a playoff – it was really intense! Names like Hira Naveed, Jeongeun Lee6, and the consistently strong Nelly Korda, who was recently a runner-up, are also in the field. Adding to that are the season's in-form players, Jeeno Thitikul and Hannah Green. It's definitely going to be a stellar field, folks!
How Not to Miss a Shot!
Want to catch the action live? No problem! Starting March 26, the first tee times are set for around 8:00 AM local time (4:00 PM CET). You can catch the action on Golf Channel and streaming on golfchannel.com or via the USA Sports App. Broadcast times for the four rounds are from Thursday to Sunday, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM ET (1:00 AM to 3:00 AM CET the following day). So, brew some coffee or set your alarms, golfers!
