The stage is set, the WTGL flexes its muscles, unveiling the five teams poised to revolutionize women's golf. TMRW Sports has revealed the inaugural rosters, featuring names everyone should be watching: Charley Hull, Atthaya Thitikul, Lydia Ko, Lottie Woad, and Michelle Wie West – the new league means business.
This new indoor format, kicking off in November 2026 with five-player teams, is anything but a cut-price affair. Ten players from the world's top 25 are involved, alongside fan favorite Lexi Thompson and icon Michelle Wie West. What's truly impressive: four women from the top 10 are teeing it up – Atthaya Thitikul as world number two, Lottie Woad at sixth, Charley Hull at seventh, and Ruoning Yin at eighth. This is a lineup that truly packs a punch.
The WTGL Teams
Five cities will proudly wear their colors once play begins: Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Los Angeles Golf Club, Motor City Golf Club from Detroit, and the New York Golf Club. Each team is a powerhouse in its own right. For instance, Atlanta Drive GC features Nataliya Guseva, Charley Hull, Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee, and Yuka Saso. The Motor City Golf Club boasts several top-tier talents, including Brooke Henderson, Atthaya Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Ruoning Yin, and Albane Valenzuela.
Indoor Golf Revolution
The WTGL is clearly the female counterpart to the TGL concept – high-tech indoor golf, but infused with team spirit and concentrated women's power. This roster unveiling demonstrates a commitment not just to current peak performance but also to established names, aiming to electrify fans from day one. The takeaway: golf is being rethought, and women are leading the charge in igniting the next level.
