At Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan, the 55-year-old played flawlessly. Especially on the back nine, Alker surged ahead, irresistibly pulling away with four consecutive birdies, capped by an epic 60-foot (18.29 meters) birdie putt on the 15th hole. The official Tour enthusiastically celebrated his "back-to-back" success.
Goosen Shines, Block Fades
While Alker delivered a dominant display, Retief Goosen played a stellar final round of 64, securing second place. However, Alker's consistency was insurmountable this weekend. Finishing in a tie for third were Stewart Cink, Greg Chalmers, and Michael Block, who had held the lead after two rounds but unfortunately faltered with a 74 on Sunday. This was Block's fifth start on the PGA Tour Champions, where he has certainly made a good impression.
