Mirabel Ting has become the first player ever to secure an LPGA Tour card for 2027 via the Epson Tour's Race to the Card standings – an absolute statement in her rookie season. This achievement not only guarantees her ticket to the big stage but also ensures Malaysian representation on the LPGA Tour next year – a historic moment.
Rookie Sensation on the Green
What an incredible performance Ting has delivered in her rookie season! In 17 starts, she made the cut 15 times, clinched two victories, and secured an impressive eleven top-10 finishes. Her season was packed with highlights, including a strong second-place finish at the Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship and triumphs at the Smoky Mountain Championship and the Dream First Bank Charity Classic. These achievements propelled her to the top of the rankings. She currently leads with a whopping 2,200,000 points, well ahead of Lauren Olivares (2,128,817) and Kaleiya Romero (1,714,509).
The Epson Tour's system is clear: the top 15 players in the Race to the Card standings secure full playing privileges for the LPGA Tour in the following season.
