Fifteen new faces burst onto the DP World Tour 2027: The 2026 HotelPlanner Tour season concluded explosively in Mallorca, and with it, the fortunate 15 who secured their ticket to the big stage have been determined. Following an exciting Grand Final at Club de Golf Alcanada, the 'Road to Mallorca' standings are decided, and the list of promoted players is set.
Julien Sale claimed victory at the Grand Final with an absolutely stunning round of 22 under par and a total score of 266 strokes. He finished four shots ahead of Hamish Brown, securing 85,000 Euros in prize money and second place in the season standings. However, Hamish Brown consistently showed great strength and, despite Sale's strong finish, remained atop the season-long ranking.

MJ Daffue also showed what he's made of, finishing the tournament in Mallorca at 17 under par in third place and is back on the DP World Tour after a very successful season. Marc Warren delivered a particularly dramatic performance: The four-time DP World Tour winner started the event in 20th place but fought his way forward seven spots to 13th with a tied fifth-place finish (15 under par), reclaiming his card – what a display of nerves! Liam Nolan also showed resilience, playing a final round of 67 strokes and finishing ninth in the overall standings after being under immense pressure.
Who Narrowly Missed Out and What's Next
Conversely, it was a tough break for John Catlin, who finished fourth in the tournament but still missed out on promotion. Hurly Long's tied fifth-place finish also wasn't enough to make the leap into the top 15. Players ranked 16th to 20th still receive DP World Tour Category 19 status, which grants them some playing opportunities but not the full playing rights of the top 15. The newly qualified DP World Tour golfers, by the way, will only start their campaign after the current 2025–26 season concludes with the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
