DeChambeau: Korea Title Defense in Focus.

Bryson DeChambeau has recorded both victories and missed cuts in 2026, and now he turns his attention to LIV Golf Korea, an event where he has already achieved great success. Ebbs and flows. As brilliant as Bryson DeChambeau can be at the peak of his powers, the Crushers GC captain is not immune to golf's most perplexing aspect: the rollercoaster of results. Consider his last six worldwide starts: Victory at LIV Golf Singapore, Victory at LIV Golf South Africa, Missed Cut at the Masters, Withdrawal at LIV Golf Mexico City due to injury, a third-place finish at Maaden LIV Golf Virginia, Missed Cut at the PGA Championship.

The Major Rollercoaster

The majors are golf's biggest prizes – and DeChambeau has already claimed two of them in his career. This naturally makes his missed cuts at the first two in 2026 all the more pronounced. "That's kind of the game of golf," DeChambeau said. "The weeks before, I played really well. I won two events before the Masters and then finished third in Virginia. So it's not like I'm playing bad golf. I think I put pressure on myself to play well in those tournaments, and that's the reality. Nobody's perfect, and I'm still working hard to play as well as I can, and the year before, I played really well in the majors, missed a cut there, and it just happens. That's golf, and ultimately, I look forward to the opportunities I have in the future. There's no quit in me, as you can see. Even at Aronimink, I birdied my final three holes to make the cut, and it is what it is."

Korea Comeback with a Statement

DeChambeau returns to action this week at LIV Golf Korea. While it's the same country where he secured his only LIV Golf individual title to date in 2025 (his Crushers also won the team competition), this year he'll be playing on a different course, the Asiad Country Club in Busan, instead of last year's Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon. Regardless of the location, DeChambeau is accustomed to winning worldwide. His last three victories have come in three different countries – last year in South Korea; this year in Singapore and South Africa. This is a major appeal of the international LIV Golf calendar.
